DR GEORGE MANYANGADZE



Dr Manyangadze obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2010. After successfully completing his medical degree, he did his community service and internship training at Helen Joseph Hospital.


 

Dr Manyangadze obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2010. After successfully completing his medical degree, he did his community service and internship training at Helen Joseph Hospital.


In 2015, Dr Manyangadze joined the University of Witwatersrand's Department of Surgery and underwent extensive training in general surgery. He completed his Fellowship through the College of Surgeons of South Africa FCS (SA) in 2019 and received his Master of Medicine in Surgery that same year. Through his alma, he dealt with novel therapies when managing breast cancer in low and middle-income countries.

Dr Manyangadze pursued his passion for vascular surgery and completed a two-year fellowship training programme specialising in vascular surgery through Stellenbosch University in 2020.


In his free time, Dr Manyangadze enjoys travelling, hiking and jogging. He believes that leading an active lifestyle can broaden our minds and improve the vasculature. He is happily married and describes his wife as loving, caring and supportive.
